Each CRL FA Series 2/20 Weight Range Sash Balance necessitates the attachment of nylon guides, which can be riveted onto the top and bottom of the channel. Customers have the option to either order channel balances with pre-attached guides from the factory or to order guide kits including rivets to mount the guides themselves. Additionally, CRL provides the reliable Cat. No. H3740 Rivet Set Tool, which effectively mushrooms the rivet, ensuring a very strong set.

These sash balances have a measured depth of 5/8" (16 mm) but are commonly referred to as 1/2" (13 mm) in the trade. They are available in 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 weight range balances in lengths ranging from 13" to 43" (330 mm to 1.09 m).

NOTE: A few window manufacturers have utilized special 1/2" (12.7 mm) increment channel lengths.
