The CRL FA Series 1/10 weight range sash balance, you need to attach nylon guides to the top and bottom of the channel. You have the option to purchase channel balances with pre-attached guides or buy guide kits with rivets to mount the guides yourself. Additionally, the Cat. No. H3740 Rivet Set Tool offered by CRL effectively secures the rivets in place.

These sash balances measure 5/8" (16 mm) in depth but are commonly referred to as 1/2" (13 mm) in the trade. They are available in 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 weight ranges and come in lengths ranging from 13" to 42" (330 to 1067 mm).

Please note that some window manufacturers have used special 1/2" (12.7 mm) increment channel lengths.
