The flexible flap on the strip rubs against the sliding glass doors so insects cannot penetrate the gap between the screen and glass doors. The 1-1/2" (38 mm) wide flap has tear strips so you can choose a flap width of 3/8", 5/8", 3/4" or 7/8" (9.5, 16, 19.1 or 22.2 mm) to a custom size made specifically for your door.
