Product Overview

Our Wet Abrasive Glass Grinding Belts with 100% polyester backing are designed for both wet and dry use. They come in six standard sizes in grits from 36X (Super Coarse) to CORK (Polishing) to fit most upright belt sanding machines. Each box contains five Upright Sander Belts, unless otherwise noted. We also offer Cork Polishing belts. If you don't see your required belt size or grit, please contact CRL Glass and Glazing Technical Sales for assistance.

Our fast-grinding 100% Polyester Backed Belts are available in 14 grits from 36X to CORK. You can inquire about our Large User Program for potential cost savings. We stock sizes to fit virtually all upright belt sanders and can also accommodate special orders for other sizes. Additionally, selected 3M Brand Belts are available.

Here are the most popular grits for glass and examples of their use:

• 40X: Coarse for Shaping, Glass Removal
• 60X: Extra-Rough, Fast Glass Removal (Mitered Edge) 
• 80X: Rough, Quick-Contouring (Auto Glass Edge) 
• 120X: Smooth, Seaming, and Polishing (Desk Top Edge) 
• 220X: Extra-Smooth, Fine Frosted Finish (Glass Shelf Edge) 
• 400X: Fine, Satin Finish (Opaque Edge) 
• 600X: Super Fine, Super Smooth Finish 
• CORK: Polish, Smooth Luster Finish
