Product Overview
The CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, showcases the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System, featuring patent protection in the US, Canada, and Europe. This state-of-the-art system secures the glass in the door rail by applying precise pressure using glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, the glass securing extrusions create an incredibly robust fit, generating over 900 lbs of force in our 9" (228.6 mm) Corner Rail and 100 lbs per inch in the full-length 35-3/4" (908 mm) Door Rails.
Following installation, adjusting the door is a breeze - simply remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts. The center bolt secures the adjustable slide in position, while the two outer bolts enable precise adjustments of the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out, granting flexibility for out-of-square openings.
In addition to these impressive features, the Wedge-Lock® Door Rail system offers compatibility with 3/8" to 3/4" (10 or 19 mm) glass, ensuring a durable, single-component housing that maintains its position over time and boasts longevity in extreme environments. Not to mention, the internal components require no removal before installation, simplifying the process.
It's important to note that while all Wedge-Lock® Door Rails come with the built-in Jamb Alignment Block, arms and pivots must be ordered separately to meet specific job requirements.
