Product Overview

CRL's Wide Glass Door Pivot Hinges can be installed in seconds and are designed to be similar to Cat. No. EH224 and Cat. No. EH226, but are specifically made to accommodate larger and heavier doors. You only need to tighten two set screws to secure the hinges to glass that is 1/4" to 5/16" (6 to 8 mm) thick.

Key specifications are as follows:

• Maximum recommended door width: 20" (508 mm).
• Maximum weight allowance: 28 lb. (12.7 kg). 
• Each pack contains one set for the top and bottom of the door.

It is important to note the following product warning:

• Minimum clearance required: 5/16" (7.9 mm) at the top and 5/16" (7.9 mm) at the bottom.
• The installer must determine the desired width deductions, taking into account the clearance for hardware, locks, etc. (1/8" on the hinge side, 1/8" between doors is recommended). 
• Mounting/pivot pin: 3/8" from the edge of the hinge to the center of the pin.
