Product Overview

CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® is made from superior insulating silicone foam, effectively eliminating perimeter edge condensation and significantly reducing overall window heat loss. The unique design of Super Spacer® offers several advantages, making it suitable for specialized insulating glass designs like curved and odd-shaped units, sound insulation, and triple-glazed units with art glass inserts.  

For long-term durability, UV-resistant silicone material is utilized to prevent spacer degradation. The flexible foam spacer accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement and also helps in improving edge seal desiccant. Its permeability allows for fast moisture pick-up. Additionally, to reduce moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss, the Super Spacer® is reinforced by a high-performance, multi-layer barrier film.

The rolls are 66 feet (20.1 meters) long. Other colors and bulk rolls are available through special orders.

Please note: Super Spacer® should be used with an edge sealant. CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer® Sealant is recommended.
