Sticks At a Touch - Seals Instantly Highly Adhesive Applies Quickly and Easily Wide Range of Sizes Available in Gray and Black CRL Vinyl Foam Glazing Tape is a closed-cell vinyl foam sealant in tape form. The adhesive is formulated to position the foam on curved or irregular surfaces with the slightest pressure. It can be used as an exterior glazing sealant - particularly where glass repositioning is important before the final setting. It is specifically designed to be a primary or secondary seal in a variety of glazing systems. It is self-shimming, so you don't need shims or spacers. The adhesive keeps the tape in place against the effects of water, heat, and constant moving of glass. 20 year minimum life expectancy. Color: Gray Thickness of Tape: 1/8 in (3 mm) Width of Tape: 1 in (25 mm) Feet per Roll: 1 00 ft (30.5 m) Additional Product Information: CRL Vinyl Foam Glazing Tape has these features: It does not require internal reinforcement; cutting and applying is easy, no mess. A minimum of 15% compression will provide a watertight seal. Its PVC structure gives an extremely high coefficient of expansion/contraction when there is movement in joints or seams. The tape may be overlapped at corners, and will compress to seal. It will not dry, crack, crumble or powder, and does not change color or composition when exposed to fungi or ultraviolet light. It is easily applied in temperatures from 35°F (2°C), recommended application temperature is 60°F (15°C) to 100°F (38°C). The service temperature range is -60°F (-51°C) to 180°F (82°C), intermittently to 200°F (93°C). It will not become sticky in hot weather or lose adhesion in cold weather. It is compatible with all popular glazing compounds, including silicones, polysulfides, polyurethanes, and acrylics.
