CRL Sealant Tape is a superior quality black synthetic rubber tape reinforced with a lightweight polyester cloth. This robust reinforcement eliminates stretching and prevents any creeping or sagging while in use. The tape adheres exceptionally well to most surfaces, even when applied in vertical or overhead positions. It creates a watertight, gasket-like seal with outstanding resistance to weathering. In accelerated weather testing, it demonstrated no loss of flexibility or resiliency, and showed no surface cracking after 1300 hours of exposure. It can endure sub-zero temperatures of -70°F (-56.7°C) and its aggressive tack allows for application in temperatures as low as 40°F (4°C). Application is simple with its peel and stick feature, and it can be repositioned without causing any damage to the tape or the surface.
