CRL Saint-Gobain/Norton Thermalbond® Tape is an excellent choice for your needs. It is a semi-rigid foam tape with an aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive and a specially formulated cellular substrate. This high-density tape is used as a spacer for joint dimension control in structural silicone glazing systems and is widely recognized as the best spacer tape for such systems.

Limitations: It's important to note that Thermalbond® Tape is a spacer material and not meant to be a structural component. Its adhesive properties cannot be used as part of the permanent fastening system or to reduce the amount of silicone adhesive recommended by the silicone manufacturer. Proper surface cleaning is vital, and the tape must be carefully positioned as it cannot be repositioned after the initial contact. In some cases, priming surfaces with Norton Tite-R-Bond Adhesion Promoter may be necessary.
