CRL Metal Tube Drills are specifically designed for use with our CRL Tripod Drill or a similar type of drill machine. These drills are engineered to work with an abrasive grain, such as CRL Silicon Carbide Grain, to create holes in glass through rotational abrasion. A coolant (or water) is mixed with the abrasive to form a slurry, which is held in place by a CRL Rubber Base Drilling Ring. The smooth and consistent rotation of the Tube Drill against the glass will result in a clean hole with minimal breakage or chipping. CRL Metal Tube Drills provide a cost-effective solution for your glass drilling needs. They feature a 1/4" (6.4 mm) diameter shank to fit most drilling machines.

Product Warning: Always wear appropriate safety gear, including eye protection, when drilling glass. Work should be carried out on a flat, horizontal surface. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter must be used when using any type of electric tool with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
