This method provides an effective way to replace broken sash balances on wood windows. Simply create a cutout into your window frame, place the CRL Adjustable Sash Balance, attach the glides, adjust the tension, and your job is complete. Our sash balances are made with all-steel construction and feature aircraft cable lifters. The cables are designed to extend up to 40" (1.02 m) and each package includes one balance.

Remember: Before making a purchase, ensure that you have the correct weight of your sash. Order a balance with sufficient capacity for your sash, and never use a balance on a sash that is heavier than the weight listed on the Table of Capacities.
