CRL Watertight Cover Plates are expertly designed to effectively reduce water leakage. These plates are direct replacements for standard plates and do not require any modifications. Simply remove the standard cover plate and replace it with the New Watertight Cover Plate; it's as straightforward as that.

The New Watertight Cover Plates effectively seal the small gap between the center block and the hinge. They are readily available in our four most popular models for Series GEN037 through GEN545.

Product Warning: When using a Watertight Cover Plate, the door can only be opened outwards. We highly recommend installing a stop or jamb to prevent the door from being pushed inwards. Use only the template included with our hinge, as cut-out dimensions for CRL hinges may not match those of other brands.
