Product Overview

CRL M66 is an exceptional one-part, moisture-curing, gun-grade modified polyurethane sealant that stands out for its outstanding performance in moving joints. It does not require a primer on most common construction surfaces and is AAMA approved, VOC compliant with only nine g/L, and UV resistant.

This sealant is specially formulated to outperform traditional VOC solvent polyurethanes for sealing moving joints in concrete, masonry, metal, and other basic perimeter joint applications. It offers excellent adhesion to fluoropolymer paint coatings for metal surfaces and common building substrates.

Featuring a light grainy texture, CRL M66 is ideal for matching textured substrates like stucco and masonry and for smoothing out tooling marks and the wavy effect that is inevitable when tooling sealants.

In addition to its use in storefront and curtain wall applications, this sealant is also suitable for varied manufacturing uses, such as the production of travel trailers and mobile homes.

With features like exceptional adhesion to KYNAR® coated metals, VOC compliance, low-temperature gunning and application above 0°F, and being eco-friendly by being solvent-free, isocyanates-free, and VOC compliant, CRL M66 is an ideal choice for a wide range of applications.

While it offers numerous benefits, users should avoid applying it over damp or contaminated surfaces. Adequate ventilation is essential during application, and it is not recommended for surfaces with special protective or cosmetic coatings without prior consultation of the manufacturer. Additionally, it should not be applied to unpredictable absorptive surfaces such as marble, limestone, or granite unless appearance standards have been agreed upon as a result of testing for stain and/or discoloration.
