Product Overview

Spring-Loaded CRL Nylon Plunger Latch is specifically designed to securely hold 1/4" to 7/16" (6.3 to 11 mm) screens in metal window frames. The spring-loaded plunger easily pops into a 7/32" (5.6 mm) hole drilled into the screen frame. To ensure a precise installation, use a 3/16" drill for the large diameter hole and a 1/8" (3.2 mm) drill for the small diameter hole on the opposite side of the frame. For seamless alignment, we highly recommend using the Plate Number 1 jig. Each bulk pack contains 100 latches. Additionally, a separate package with six latches is also available.

Note: Use CRL Cat. No. Plate Number 2 Step Drill to easily install the Plate Number 3 plunger. Two drill bits, CRL Cat. No. 1/8" and 3/16", are required for installing the smaller diameter Plate Number 4 Plungers.
