The Strengthened Glass Detector is a versatile tool that can be used in a variety of settings. It can test single panes of glass or multiple panes in a window, all from a single side. Whether you're in the factory or in the field, this Detector is up to the task. This portable, battery-powered unit is designed to be simple to use. Just slide the meter across the glass and observe the reflections from the glass head-on. As the meter crosses stress lines in the glass (caused by the strengthening process), the resulting surface reflections from our wide array of light sources will change color, providing you with a clear indication of the glass's strength.
