When using cutting fluid, the surface tension in the glass is greatly reduced, thus the cutting fluid penetrates the cutting surface faster and guarantees an optimal cutting result. Furthermore, cutting fluids lubricate the cutting wheel, thus minimizing friction and enabling longer service lives. When cutting glass with cutting fluid, the cutting pressure can be reduced, resulting in less damage to the glass surface, which also leads to less chipping and significantly better edge quality.
